Hello there, my name is Nicole; the founder and creator of Saved. I am a 16 year old female who has no idea what she’s doing but is trusting God to lead her. Even with this blog, I don’t know what I’m doing but I know I have to do it, so here we are.

I guess you can call this an origin story of sorts. This is the day the brand Saved was conceived. I had been listening to Saved by Elevation Rhythm and I felt as though the song was speaking to me. It kept playing out in my head every day and I simply thought it was because it was catchy(because it is). What I hadn’t realised was that God was trying to speak to me through that song and all I was hearing first was the beat, the amazing vocals, the outfits worn in the video and not actually hearing the words.

The more I listened to the song, the more I heard and understood the words. The more the words resonated with me as well as someone who used to think faith was about church on a Sunday then going out and being of the world every other day of the week. God showed me that being saved is a beautiful thing and should be our lifestyle. This led to me feeling called to do something to remind people that God still saves, that God still loves. I was reminded of some designs for a clothing brand I had a while ago and I felt like I was supposed to switch up a concept and make the clothes, garments with a message. A reminder to people of what Jesus did on the cross for all of us.

I doubted myself throughout the process and have been putting this off because I was scared and felt somewhat unworthy. Until I went to Young Lions(a young leaders conference) and saw just how excited and zealous young people are for Jesus out there. And seeing how unashamed everyone was gave me the confidence to do this.

Overall this blog is the baby that came from my brand and I feel like I don’t want to keep calling it a blog. You all are my family, and together we’re going to learn and help each other be Unashamed of the Gospel. This blog and the brand Saved are a space for conversations that matter and I want to build a real family with you all.
